Career path

Building toward a career in robotics.

My path combines robotics engineering studies, practical responsibility at work and projects that turn theory into working systems.

Timeline

Studies, work and projects.

Each step has strengthened a different part of my engineering toolkit: technical problem-solving, independent responsibility and practical implementation.

  1. Education

    Robotics Engineering, Tampere University

Third-year student building expertise in automation, control systems, intelligent machines and practical robot development. My goal is to understand the full robotics stack, from mechanical design and control to software integration.

  2. Work

    Evening Supervisor, City of Tampere

Responsible for opening and locking school facilities, basic supervision and guiding evening users. The work requires reliability, clear communication and independent decision-making.

  3. Franka robot beside the physical Tower of Hanoi puzzle
    Course project

    Tower of Hanoi with Franka

Worked in a group to program a Franka robot to solve the physical puzzle. My main responsibilities were the recursive move algorithm and programming the robot positions and movement sequence.

  4. SolidWorks model of a hydraulic tipping trailer
    Course project

    Tipping Trailer Assembly

Designed a complete hydraulic tipping trailer assembly in SolidWorks. The project developed my skills in mechanical modelling, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, exploded views and design decisions.

  5. Technical illustration of the six-axis robot arm project
    Independent project · In progress

    Building a Six-Axis Robot Arm

Printing and assembling a WE-R2.4 robot arm. The first motor-driven planetary joint has been assembled and is waiting for its initial powered movement test.

  6. Work

Sports Facility Supervisor, City of Tampere

Worked at Tampere Stadium and Vuorestalo. The role strengthened my ability to take responsibility for facilities, solve practical issues and work independently in a public-service environment.
